In November I had the opportunity to visit
Salinas International Speedway for the Piston Vs. Rotory season ending
event. The islands fastest Imports comeout to compete for top prizes
and also the bragging rights on which engine is faster. Piston or Rotory?
The day was great and the racing action
couldn't get any better. Personal best records were being broken
all day long. Breaking into the 7's was La Baby Turbo's starlet ran
a 7.96. Also Siguel Racing's Rx7 made a 6.97 pass against the Ford
Mustang of Stormin Luis.
